Below are my various fitness certifications. I make it a point to always learn as much as I can and I do my best to be well-rounded trainer with several areas of expertise.

American Counsil on exercise: Certified personal trainer
completed: February 2016
I earned my ACE Personal Trainer Certification in February of 2016. After about a year of helping friends and family learn how to properly exercise I wanted to expand upon my knowledge and become more confident in my ability to work with people and make sure they succeeded in the goals they laid out.
trx Suspension Training
completed: July 2016
In July of 2016 I chose to pursue a certification in learning how to properly use and integrate the TRX Suspension trainer into a fitness program. I had several clients who lacked the ability to properly squat, perform a row or do a push-up. The TRX allowed me to improve my ability to program for those clients as well as integrate other elements of using the TRX to advance the programs of others.
National Academy of sports medicine: mixed martial arts
completed: July 2016
July 2016 marked a second certification (which was a little short cited because these things cost hundreds of dollars), as I became a Certified Mixed Martial Arts Conditioning Specialist. This allows me to create more effective workouts based on cardiovascular endurance with the workouts being more circuit based. The MMA conditioning is more of an athleticism based workout with less rest time and most movements being based around time, rather than repetitions.
National Academy of sports medicine: Fitness Nutrition
completed: March 2017
March 2017 I completed my NASM Nutrition Certification. Offering effective coaching to help someone improve their diet is one of the most important parts of implementing a proper exercise program. Because of my increased knowledge with this certification I was able to help clients of mine lose anywhere from 10-50lbs. It has truly aided me in my ability to coach people to making smarter food choices and understand their dietary needs much better than before.
